Finding Arkhata
| Finding Arkhata |
| Requirements: Level 45
Finishing Unlocks: Rammy's Crown Story: On reaching level 45, the Guard next to the teleporter in Brannington will speak to you. His cousin, a scout, has returned from the mountains above the mines rambling about meeting someone up there. That it is a strange place usually best avoided. Where demons still roam the land freely and men normally dare not go. After some discussion with the Count, the task of checking these rumors falls to you.
Protip: When being told to report back to Bran at the end of this quest, make sure you go into town and find the teleporter to do so, so that you have an easy way back. The guard next to the teleporter will give you the quest. Exit the front of the city and head towards the entrance to the mines. Instead of going into the mines, circle around between the mines and the home of the wizard you killed earlier for the Brannington Family Jewels quest. The entrance to the mountains is at (76,250). Be prepared, while the next area is accessible at level 45, the Rock Demons (lvl 50) you have to kill are significantly stronger than their level would lead you to believe. Make your way through the rocky terrain until you see a very small bridge angled to the south-west. Cross the bridge and continue making your way to the building. The North-west corner of the building extends out into the mountain area and there is a fake wall at (218,141). Go through into the fortress. Inside there are many Young Guards who will attack you on sight. Make your way through (using the map at the bottom of the page) until you reach a room with two guards that are level 51 instead of 50. In this room at (182,45) is another false wall. Go through this area to exit out into Arkhata proper. Note: The whole area is infested with Harpies and Wolves. From exiting the secret wall travel North-West. You are headed to a wooden building inhabited by a guard named "Rammy" (door is at (98,69). Talk to Rammy, who will tell you to go report back to the guard in Bran. |
Rammy's Crown
| Rammy's Crown |
| Requirements: Level 45; Finding Arkhata
Finishing Unlocks: Ishtar's Bracelet Story: Returning to Rammy after speaking to the guard in Bran, you find that he has been robbed by a gang of bandits! They took his most precious item, his crown! Rammy tells you that the gang traveled south, past the fortress and if you return it he will reward you!
Protip: Collect "The Ceremonial Pot" quest before you go do this, as the entrance for that quest is in the back of the bandit hideout. Head south, killing the Harpies and Wolves that bother you on the way. Go until you reach (204,184). The building has a sign out front that says to be careful because there are bandits ahead. Inside are two level 58 bandit warriors. Go straight through the next two rooms, run into a level 61 Guard, collect the first key. Open the door directly south-west with the first key, inside are two guards, one of which has key 2. Continue through the stronghold, the bandits become level 60. There is one additional key to collect and you can enter the last room with multiple bandits and the level 65 bandit boss. Kill the boss, collect the crown and take it back to Rammy. If you picked up the quest The Ceremonial Pot, it's time to do that before you venture back.

The Ceremonial Pot

| Requirements: Level 48,
Finishing Unlocks: A one time use infravision potion! Story: The Pot Maker, by order of the monk Thai Pan, created a magical iron pot. The pot was blessed with holy water from a spring in the mountains outside the fortress. The pot is quite valuable as it can hold water in temperatures well below freezing and still have the water stay liquid. This magical pot was STOLEN. The monk Thai Pan has said he can sense the pots magic south of his temple and suggests we begin the search in that direction.
Protip: Make sure you are doing this quest at the same time as Rammy's Crown, as the quest entrance is in the back of the location you need to go to for Rammy's Crown Return to the bandit hideout you infiltrated during the Rammy's Crown quest. In the large room with the table, where the level 61 guard holds key 1, move to the back wall. There is a hidden entrance through the wall at (247,191). The metal door beyond this will take you to an icy area full of level 56 seekers (big spooky eye demons). These are spell-casters that have high spell damage for their level, come prepared with high immunity. The room itself looks open, but actually has several invisible walls that turn the room into a maze. Consider going in stealth so you do not agro them all at once, as they can fireball across the walls and you have to navigate the maze to get to each of them. . Luckily, there is only one way through and no turns to get lost on, so you can easily beat this maze just by ctrl+clicking the seeker ahead of you to run forward and melee it to auto-path through much of the maze. Keep moving forward until you encounter the one level 55 seeker, who will have a key on their body that you will need to open the door at the end of the maze. Inside the door is a level 66 Warlock that has the pot you need. Despite the higher level, it is less of a threat than the 56 seekers. Kill the Warlock and take the potion back to the Pot Maker to finish.

Finishing Unlocks: The ability to collect Buddha statues for negs Story: Visiting the monk Thai Pan gets you a nice cup of green tea. Afterwards the monk tells you a story of how the ruins on the shore nearby used to be a sanctuary for scholars of his order. This order became corrupt as their research was focused through the lens of green instead of the will to do good. They discovered ancient secrets, these secrets corrupted their minds and caused them to become zombies. Thai Pan says the place has a strange shrine you should investigate. Walkthrough: Think of this as the zombies from Aston all over again. Instead of skulls, you will collect grey scrolls. Use the grey scrolls on the holy pool you find until you get a red scroll. Return the red scroll to Thai Pan. There is also a chance you receive a Buddha Statue. You can turn those into Thai Pan when you have negs and he will erase some of your negs. You can continue to do this as long and as many times as you want for your negs.

Finishing Unlocks: The Monk's Request Story: Ramin (building south of Emralda) is a direct ancestor of the High Counsellor Regnior who brought the people to Arkhata. As such they are in charge of the civil life of the city. They let you know that one of the traders reports a strange hole appearing in their bedroom out of nowhere and since Rammy does not have any soldiers from the military section of Arkhata to spare, it falls on you to explore the hole and destroy any dangers within. Walkthrough: Head over to the three Traders and find Jessy. Enter the door next to him to go into his bedroom. Bring some potions and be prepared to move quickly, this quest is unique. When you enter the hole you will find skeletons. The trick to this quest is all skeletons must be dead -at the same time- for the quest to trigger as complete. |
