You can choose to create either a Mage or Warrior, male or female from the character creation page. Upon on entering the game you may change your character from a Soft Core (SC) toon into a Hard Core (HC) toon by talking to James (137,190).
Soft Core
- Can accumulate up to 10 saves.
- Pre Arch all three classes max their base stats at 50 points.
- Post Arch Seyan's max their base stats at 100.
- Post Arch Mage & Warrior max their base stats at 115.
Hard Core
- Can not accumulate saves and receives more negative experience per death.
- Levels Faster
- Pre Arch all three classes max their base stats at 55 points.
- Post Arch Seyan's max their base stats at 107.
- Post Arch Mage & Warrior max their base stats at 122.
