Story:

After speaking to Ramin at the end of "A Shopkeeper's Fright" he will tell you that the monks inside of the library need assistance. Johnatan will let you know that while the monks were fast asleep, they believe a monster broke into the library and stole the three pieces of a key. The books in the library are old and have untold secrets, so the monks each hold a piece of a key to the cages of books. Johnatan offers to share some of the knowledge if you can return the parts of the key. It seems a small group of monsters has decided to work together to steal the key. They say nothing as you recover it, but the monks thank you and share some knowledge (exp) for finding it. Afterwards, they refer you to Tracy who needs more help.

Walkthrough:
Speak to Ramin after "A Shopkeeper's Fright". Go into the library, see Gregor, then Johan, then finally Johnatan. Simply go south, past Thai Pan. Near the middle of the map is a steel fence. Walk through the gate and up the path to the front door. The first room is five level 62 skeletons. The second room is five level 62 bandits. Then five level 61 elder Vampires. Then a room with one of each from before. Finally a room with a 67 skeleton lord, 67 bandit lord, and 69 vampire lord. Each has a key piece on them. Return each key part to the monk listed in the desc of the item and see Johnatan for your reward. Afterwards see Tracy for The Book Eater.

Story

Before the turmoil of the Demon invasion, Emperor Seyan IV built a secret fortress in the mountains. There, away from everything else, a city was built within the fortress. A city with a rich landscape and enough resources to be self-sufficient for ages to come.

Only the family of his High Councilor, the hand selected guards of Arkata, and some workers were to know of it. The city was to be a stronghold in times of peril. When the demons attacked the city of Aston and murdered the emperor, the current High Councilor Regnior brought those around him through the mountain pass and into the fortress of Arkhata.

The gate was drawn shut and all contact with the outside world lost, and knowledge of the city was lost.
