Color Codes
Notice: Any color you can make in Astonia can be made via RGB 1-31. The long, randomly spammed numbers, just get converted to these numbers.
Changing your color.
Each type of character has three color zones which can be changed independently.
You can use the command /col1 (or /col2 or /col3) to bring up the interface to change these colors via slider. You can adjust your colors on the sliders to get a feel for how mixing colors works. You can also use the green buttons at the bottom to change the zone you are adjusting.
You can also enter Color Codes. To enter a color code, type "/ col1 # # #". The space between the / and col1 is required. By doing this you can input a specific set of numbers to get the exact color you want.
Resetting Colors
You can use the "/ col1" and "/ col2" and "/ col3" without entering a number to reset you to default. This will LOOK weird, until you change areas, and which it will swap back to the defaults.
How they work.
Colors in Astonia 3 are on a Red-Green-Blue (RGB) scale of values from 1 up to 31.
When you enter a color code, you enter it to be the red value, the green value, and the blue value.
Knowing this, its easy to understand why 31 31 31 is pure white, and 1 1 1 is pure black. You can make 31 1 1 to have the most pure red, 1 31 1 to be the most pure green, and 1 1 31 to be the most pure blue. From there, it's just like mixing paint.
Shiny Colors (Colors with Alpha)
Alpha is made by overflowing the values in the slider. To do this accurately, simply add 31 to the first value. If you have, for example, 15 15 15 (a grey) and you want it to be a shiny grey, simply add 31 to the first number and enter it as 46 15 15 for the same color, but with alpha.
A few examples have been provided below. A good way to practice is to see if you can convert these to RGB 1-31 color codes. They -all- can be perfectly matched, if you're practiced.
