Story
After greeting you, Thai Pan introduces himself as a monk and offers you a cup of green tea. He then shares the story of some nearby ruins, once a sanctuary for scholars of his order.
These monks had been researching ancient scrolls they believed would grant them deeper understanding. However, their motives became corrupted by greed, and their downfall soon followed. The sanctuary collapsed into ruin and is now infested with zombies.
Thai Pan explains that very few people dare enter the ruins today, though it’s said the place still holds powerful magic, and a mysterious shrine within.

Quest Objectives
To complete this quest, the player must:
- Obtain a Red Scroll by placing Grey Scrolls into the Holy Pool,
- Give the Red Scroll to Thai Pan.
Walkthrough
After receiving the quest, head north to a ruined building.
Inside, you’ll encounter Seeker Zombies. Seeker Zombies have a 30% chance to drop a Grey Scroll. Collect as many Grey Scrolls as you can while exploring the ruin.
Deep in the ruins you'll come across the Holy Pool. Use it while holding a Grey Scroll on your cursor to offer the scroll. Each time you do, there’s a:
- 1 in 35 chance to receive a Red Scroll
- 1 in 70 chance to receive a Buddah Statue
If you're unlucky, a Red Scroll is guaranteed after using 35 Grey Scrolls.
Once you have a Red Scroll, return to Thai Pan to complete the quest and receive your reward.
The Buddah Statue
While placing Grey Scrolls into the Holy Pool, you may receive a Buddah Statue. If you give it to Thai Pan, he will remove negative experience from your character.
This can be done as many times as you like, even after completing The Lost Secrets quest.
