Story

Johnatan is trying to translate a book he believes is written in the language of the Frawds. He suspects that Frawds are related to dwarves and needs someone of dwarven blood to assist with the translation. He asks you to seek out a dwarf who might help.

Quest Objectives

To complete this quest, the player must:

• Find a Dwarf and acquire a Dictionary.

Quest Walkthrough

After accepting the quest from Johnatan, travel to Caligar and look for Corby, found just south-west of the library.

Corby offers to sell you a dictionary for 10,000 gold. To buy it, type:
pay 10000g
You’ll receive the dictionary in return.

Bring the dictionary back to Johnatan. He will reward you with 3,000 gold and 15,000 experience.

Next, you'll need to find Krenach, another dwarf. From the Brannington side of Arkhata, head into the Rock Demon area. Krenach is located in a hole in the ground, slightly west of the entrance. Tip: You can hold Shift and click to the far left of your screen, your character will pathfind to the hole.

When you speak to Krenach, he will reward you with 60,000 experience and 5,000 gold.

Notes

• The dictionary costs 10,000g, but you only receive 8,000g in return, resulting in a 2,000g net loss.
• The 75,000 experience you gain equates to 37.5 exp per gold spent.
